Welcome to Bates Folk and Food!

My name is Margaret and I’m a member of the class of 2013 at Bates. I’m interested in sustainable food and farming, playing the violin/fiddle, folk music and dancing, geology, and lots more. At Bates, I’m a proud Geology major and have also been known to dabble in French, Anthropology, and Environmental Studies.  I’m happiest when outdoors with a book, or a fiddle, or a small animal, or a friend. If the four can be combined, I see an ideal day!
